Lisa Allen's Walk For Breast Cancer

I HAVE A NEW WEBSITE:
http://www.geocities.com/lallen75/breastcancer3day.html

On October 4th, I will begin what is probably the most physically challenging and meaningful thing I have ever done - I will walk 60 miles in honor of my grandmother, Olive Allen, and my aunt, Judy Chapman, and their fight with breast cancer. I will also be walking for all those who are not as lucky as I am... those who are not healthy or strong enough to make the walk, and I thank God that I can simply be here to do this wonderful service for all women (and men) suffering with breast cancer.

This year, approximately 182,800 women in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. That's 500 per day. Please help support me and 3000 others as we raise money for research, clinical care, financial assistance and support services, educational seminars and advocacy training, and early detection and awareness programs. My goal is to raise $1900 - I hope you will help me achieve this goal.

I will be updating my training progress under Diary, and hope to have some new photos to post soon. Please click on Guestbook to let me know what you think of this site!
